Glitchmobz: First Look
Say hello to Glitchmobz, the game I have been building on SpelagonECS this September. It is a maze game where every wall is a suggestion: you drop bombs, blast a way to the exit, and try to keep your hearts away from the mobz that live in a corrupted system. Everything is drawn in 8x8 ASCII glyphs on a simulated CRT, and it runs in the browser, on your phone or on your desktop.
What’s in it
31 handmade levels and five kinds of mobz: Wallratz that chew through the walls, a Weedgrower that grows while you wait, a Blocker that is a wall on legs, and Gruntz and Brutez that hunt you down. On top of that there are glitches crawling across the screen, matrix rain where red means pain, and a mushroom you probably should not eat.

The game has its own page now, Glitchmobz, where everything about it is collected.
When can I play?
Soon. The first chapter, five levels, comes out first. New levels follow every other week until all 31 are out, and each update gets a devlog here, collected under #glitchmobz.
Until then, follow along on X, where a new clip goes up every Saturday, and on YouTube.
